     In preparation for the upcoming Kornegay Family Reunion in Duplin County, NC in May, I'm undertaking a research project and I'd like to solicit your assistance. I want to present information on the Kornegay Migration out of North Carolina, and of course I'll post it on the web site too for everybody's benefit.

     I guess I have to break a few misconceptions here; I'd always thought that there were Kornegays only in North Carolina, Arkansas, Mississippi, Florida, Texas, and New Mexico but I find that isn't really the case. I did a quick search on Switchboard.com by state and I came up with the
attached information - and these were just listings with the last name Kornegay. It doesn't take in to account the members of these families or descendants who don't carry the last name (like me).
