George Kornegay III Born abt 1760 - Died 1822 George Kornegay III moved from Duplin County, NC to Georgia about 1805, and became one of the first settlers of Pulaski County. His will dated July 17, 1821, was probated May 6, 1822. In it, he the home-place to his older son, Bazzeel, and his younger Daniel was given $2000.00 owing the testator "by my brother Bazzeel Kornegay. of N.C., to be my said son's when he became of age, he not being fifteen years old yet." Needham Stephens and Bazzeel Kornegay, the son, were named executors. |
