Robert Kornegay left home at age 11; he worked his way as a cowboy across Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. He sent himself thru a Business College in El Paso. He ranched in New Mexico and Chihuahua, Mexico. He and his family lived also in California and finally Arizona. He made most of his living as a cattle trader.
